Multi-Flex™ MF mineral fiber pipe and tank insulation is produced using a semi rigid board, cut into strips and then laminated to a FSK, ASJ or black mat facing. Mineral fiber insulation is manufactured using basalt rock and slag. This combination results in a non-combustible product with a high melting point which gives excellent fire resistance properties. Mineral wool is a water repellent, yet vapor permeable material. This is a versatile product with excellent compressive strength.
