RPR Products Insul-Mate™ Aluminum Alclad Sheet and Jacketing is formed from a high purity 7072 alloy surface layers metallurgically bonded to a high strength 3004 alloy core aluminum. Alclad is a superior corrosion resistant alloy compared to present day alloys and meets ASTM standard B209. The properties of these combined aluminum alloys provide the required strength to resist in-service abuse, but can be easily fabricated and installed. The attractive mill finish maintains its sharp appearance, a necessity for any insulation project. Aluminum Alclad’s resistance to atmospheric corrosion makes its use ideal, even in marine, chemical, industrial environments, or Power Generation.
