Insul-Therm insulation shields are used under insulation and are designed to prevent insulation from being crushed or damaged by pipe hangers and pipe support systems. The diameter of the insulation shield shall be based on the total outside diameter of insulation. (See chart for ordering information) Thickness requirements shall be determined by project engineer or project specification. Insul-Therm insulation shields are ideal for use on a variety of piping systems and temperature ranges.
